Keturah aka K2RAH (pronounced keh-TWO-rah) is a Manchester-bred, London-based multi-creative and creative entrepreneur with an active passion for new music, content, culture and the internet.
DJ & Broadcaster
As a DJ, broadcaster and promoter, K2RAH has been championing exciting new artists and forward-thinking sounds since 2010. To that end she founded the creative collective and club night So Future in 2016, championing underground music URL and IRL.
Described by Boiler Room as “one of London’s most essential music selectors”, K2RAH built a reputation for playing fun and energetic DJ sets and effortlessly weaving along the spectrum of future sounds, electronic, afro, bass, garage, hip hop & alt- R&B.
K2RAH regularly plays at brand events, club nights, festivals and live events across the UK (including Glastonbury, Bestival, Lovebox and Wireless Festival) opening up Main Stages for the likes of Skepta and Major Lazer, playing at Childish Gambino’s VR vinyl album release party, and internationally in Portugal, Paris and Ibiza and the inaugural Afro Nation in Ghana.
Photographer
As a photographer and having naturally fallen into photographing live music in 2010, Keturah continues to capture people, places and lifestyle; constantly experimenting with light, shape and colour (see Portfolio).
Strategist & Creative Entrepreneur
With over 8 years experience in music and digital media, Keturah created, managed and delivered strategy and content to enable the growth of BBC Radio 1 and 1Xtra's combined 9 million+ online following (see LinkedIn). In 2018 she left the BBC and founded Forward Slash, a creative solutions company. In 2019 Keturah was revealed as an honoree on the Alternative Power 100 Music List.
